Creighton University Match Day 2013

Today my sister Tiffany and her husband Zachary and their daughter Lucy, stood on stage at Creighton School of Medicine and opened a letter that is literally the culmination of the last four years of hard work and dedication. They have finally come to a point where they are told where they are going to live and work for the next four years. This is a big day for all medical students, Match Day. It is a day of excitement and even disappointment for some. My family has been praying for a while that Zach and Tiffany would be located in a place that would be good for them and still close to family.

Zach chose to pursue Dermatology which is one of the most difficult programs to match into. Well today Zach matched into his 2nd choice on his rank list which is incredible!

To sum up Zach will spend one Transitional Year at UCLA, Torrance CA and then the next few years at his Primary Residency Program OHSU, Portland Oregon.

Here is a livestream video I took of Zach and Tiffany opening their envelope...

I also wanted to add the introduction video for the match day...
