Finger Painting

Today Zeke got to finger paint for the first time. This was so fun watching him. He first started out slowly painting with his fingers. And by the end of the activity he was using his feet to paint. He had it all over and when he stood up he slipped on the paint and landed on his rump. It was pretty fun watching. After we were done he hosed off outside. Definitely a great activity for kids! Below is a fun video of him painting.

Color Sorting Activity

I have been inspired by other moms to start creating a structured moment of the day with Zeke where we do a simple learning lesson or fine motor skills activity. I also have wanted to create moments for spiritual and character development. Today Zeke and I sat together this morning and read through his board book Bible and then I read a Psalm out loud from my Bible. It was such a great moment together.
We also did a color sorting activity which was fun. This video below makes me laugh!

20.5 Weeks

I love having Zeke in my pregnancy photos because he means so much to me. He is a big part of this new adventure and I want him to know it. He is the first born and the big brother! In this photo you can see I have popped out quite a bit which I am well aware of and am reminded of quite a bit from the various people I encounter...the ones with no filter. HA! I love the bump though. It is a constant reminder of God's great blessings in life. Thank you Lord for the blessing of little ones.
