Introducing Smith Baby Boy Number 2!

I had my 18 week ultrasound today which was awesome and the doctor confirmed that the baby is indeed a BOY!

He looks amazing and we even saw him waving 5 fingers at us!

Side profile. So sweet.

Baby # 2 Ultrasounds

Only one more week until we get to see the baby again on an ultrasound. I will be almost 19 weeks along coming up to the half way point. We will also have the anatomy ultrasound which will tell us what the gender is of the baby. Here is a look back at the past ultrasounds.

The doctor thought it was a boy but there is a possibility it is a girl. Any guesses?

Travel Town

This last weekend we went to our sister Kristen's house for a wonderful breakfast and then headed over to Los Angeles Travel Town Museum located in Griffith Park. I definitely recommend going to the museum and it is free to visit!

There is something about trains that excites me and of course little toddlers. It's fascinating thinking about some of these trains running in the early 1900's. They were pretty cool to look at.

16.5 Weeks

I finally feel like blogging something. It's hard to find time to take pictures of the belly when you are busy with a toddler running around. So we are multitasking with this picture! Zeke is pretty excited about the bump!

Catching Up On Easter Continued

We also made plans to get together with Robert's parents and
sister for a nice bike ride on the strand starting from Hermosa Beach and riding North.
It was somewhat overcast and cool so it made for a nice bike ride.
It was so fun to all be together and do something active.

Catching up on Easter

This year my parents came to visit us for Easter weekend. We cooked our first Easter meal at our apartment and enjoyed together a great Easter Sunday service at our church Journey of Faith.

Having some fun playing with little Robert Ezekiel!

Celebrating Jesus's Resurrection!

I decided to make guacamole deviled eggs along with regular, and they were fantastic!

This picture is for my mom. When I was a little girl my mom always let me lick the batter! This was the frosting for our fluffy coconut cake we made. So yummy.

And here are the pictures of me when I was a little girl licking the batter!
Also, a side note. Many people say that Zek looks like Robert, and I do agree.
But check out that face when I was little. Especially in the second picture down.
I totally see some Zek there! We have the similar faces I think.

Here is my mom frosting the cake!

Meanwhile while the women were cooking up a delicious Easter meal,
the men were outside doing what they love best, being constructive!
Always, when there is a chance to use their tools, they will gladly.

So what are they up to?
Robert has mentioned a lot that he loved his sandbox when he was little,
so he decided to build one for Zek!

Here is the Fluffy Coconut cake. For those of you who like coconut,
this is the cake for you!
The frosting has no powdered sugar in it or butter.
It's a very light whipped egg white frosting.
And the cake is a white cake made with coconut milk so there are some healthy benefits to eating it;)
This is one of my favorites. Delish!

Zek is enjoying his first deviled egg. Nummy.

The boys still working hard!

Here are the handsome men with the finished product.
Oh and the black board above it is a chalk board.

Thank you Dad and Grandpa!

My fist Easter basket!

Prime Rib, Green Beans and Rosemary Potatoes

Raspberry Jello

And Rolls.
A shout out to our Aunt Barb and Uncle Michael for giving us this cool wooden basket
that collapses into a trivet. Thank you!

Saying our goodbyes and hitting the road.
It was a good weekend.
