Zek in dad's hand-me-downs

Okay, since Zek is above the 95% for weight and length at 2 ½ months, he's struggling to fit it a bit - but still looks great in dad's stylish clothing.

Zek's Aunt Kristen visited his other aunt Kelli and uncle Dave in France and brought back this stylish little number! Way to sport it Zek! Also notice a smile caught on camera!

HAPPY 2 MONTH BIRTHDAY!

2 Months Old!

At 2 months... 

I can smile

I can make "coo" noises

I weigh over 14 lbs

I can wear 3 to 6 month clothing

I can hold my head up

I can sleep 4 to 6.5 hours at night

I can take a pacifier

I can wear size 2 diapers

I can make eye contact

I can be very observant

I can hiccup

I can cuddle

I can sleep in my crib

I can win the affection of almost any human being I encounter:)

On Saturday morning our friend Bethany called us and told us there was a B.O.B. stroller at the REI used gear sale. Robert decided to jump in the car and go check it out before it disappeared. It was soiled as expected but Robert was able to pick it up for $130! That beats the nearly $400 price tag it usually costs new. Also, the infant car seat adapter came with it which normally costs about $60 and sold separately. 

When Robert brought the stroller home he disassembled the canvas and washed it up in the washer and it came out looking completely clean! We then took it down to Hermosa and enjoyed the sunset and a nice walk on the strand. We really like how the stroller handles.

Right now at Costco, the Canvas prints are $10 off with a coupon. Robert and I love this photo of us in Maui and thought it would make a really nice canvas print. Originally the horizon was crooked so I leveled it using Picasa. I like the colors in this photo.

27 Weeks

My dear friend Bethany Greiner took these maternity photos of us and did such a wonderful job. 

She is very talented at capturing just the right poses and lighting! 

These were taken at Redondo Beach Wilderness Park.

 

During my pregnancy we decided that we should move from our one bedroom apartment to an apartment with some more space. It took us a while to find a place that fit the criteria we were looking for. 

We feel very blessed to have found a two bedroom stand-alone house with a backyard and washer and dryer hook-ups in Redondo Beach. We also feel amazingly blessed by the friendships we have here and all the amazing people that helped us move.

We would like to shout out to all those who helped us move!
